This time our Nature Detectives team destination was Scoala Gimnaziala ,,Samson Bodnarescu’’ – a lovely modern school located in a village of Galanesti, Suceava county, region Bukovina in Romania.
One may say-we reached the edges of European Union, as Galanesti is located in the north-eastern part of the country, very close to Ukrainian border as well. For some of us, I am sure, an absolutely unique and unforgettable experience. The country of gorgeous views, natural beautiful landscapes, amazing regions ( Maramures and Bukovina), world heritage sites (Sucevica and Voronet Monasteries) rich culture, talented people and great hospitality. The place still not spoiled by mass culture, with the people taking care of their traditions, culture and living their lives.
We all are very thankful for everything you – our Romanian partners- shared with us, showed us, let us experience and feel.
Special thanks to all project hard-working, enthusiastic teachers , great host families and helpful, open-minded local authorities.
